Since joining Traystman & Coric, LLC in 2013, Attorney Layton has practiced in the areas of civil litigation and criminal defense. Attorney Layton’s civil litigation practice focuses primarily on personal injury matters involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, medical and dental malpractice, dog bites and products liability. Attorney Layton’s criminal practice includes representing individuals charged with a variety of offenses including operating under the influence, reckless driving, operating under suspension, assault, harassment, larceny and illegal possession of a controlled substance. Attorney Layton is licensed to practice in both the State of Connecticut and in Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court. Attorney Layton resides in Deep River, Connecticut with his wife Sarah and their two sons, Louis and Archie.

Aleyshia Young

Aleyshia is the newest associate at Traystman & Coric, joining in June 2018. As a military spouse, her practice experience is continuously expanding, currently including Small Claims, Juvenile Delinquency, and Family Law. Aleyshia has worked with government, corporate and indigent clients. Her demonstrated fortitude and ability to navigate multiple areas of the law, together with her unique mix of experience make her a perceptive, judicious and creative advocate for her clients.
